The GM Performance Parts rpm control protects expensive engines from damage caused by missed shifts and broken drivetrains. This soft touch rev limiters advanced computer circuitry cuts the spark to one cylinder at a time, then fires the cylinder on the next cycle. This smooth rev-limiting feature eliminates backfires and engine damage. The limiter is calibrated for four, six, and eight-cylinder engines with a plug-in module. The maximum engine speed is also set with plug-in chips; three modules (6000, 7000, and 8000 rpm) are included. Additional modules are listed below.

This oil-filled coil has been specially designed for the GM Performance Parts ignition control. The turns ratio of its windings maximizes ignition voltage. Its alkyd top prevents arcing between the terminals, and its metal canister provides dependable service under all conditions.

This bracket mounts tachometer P/N 10038474 in the dashboard. The tachometer is held in place by a rubber shock liner. This mounting bracket is recommended for oval track race cars.

This is Chevy's best Bow Tie aluminum intake manifold for competition small-block V8s with standard intake ports. It is based on the same casting (P/N 10051103) as the raised runner intake described above, and offers the same advanced performance features. The gasket flanges are machined to provide the proper port alignment with standard runner locations; runners in heads and manifold must be matched by engine builder. This manifolds single-plane design produces impressive power at high rpm, and the tuned runners boost mid-range torque.

The intake runners in this aluminum intake manifold are raised .200" to match the ports in the raised runner Bow Tie cylinder head P/N 10051101. Its single-plane runner design maximizes horsepower at high rpm, and the gently curved runners enhance mid-range torque. The runner entries are radiused to minimize turbulence in the plenum and to promote uniform fuel distribution to all eight cylinders. An air gap beneath the runners isolates the intake charge from engine heat; there are no heat riser passages. The carburetor pad is drilled for a standard flange four-barrel.

This is GM Performance Parts best pushrod for small-block and V6/90 Chevrolet racing engines! This 5/16" diameter pushrod is manufactured from tough 4130 steel tubing with a .080" wall thickness. Tests have shown that this new premium quality pushrod is 35% stiffer than pushrod P/N 366277. It will withstand a bending force of more than 4700 pounds!
